Mrs. June Barrett, founder of The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center, passed away peacefully at her residence early Tuesday morning, August 20, 2022. “It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Mr. Barrett’s passing. June Barrett named as a Purpose Prize Fellow for 2013

The Purpose Prize is a national large-scale investment in people, who are applying their passion and experience for social good.  To see what ENCORE.org wrote about Ms. Barrett, go to http://www.encore.org/june-barrett.  Purpose Prize fellows are evaluated based on: Innovation-A new approach to an established problem. Entrepreneurial and creative spirit-Evidence of continuing personal and professional reinvention, with a goal of a positive social impact. Impact-A clear track record of success. Encore Story-A compelling story which combines a shift in focus with a demonstrated impact in a field or issue. Future focus-A trajectory for the additional success in the future. Across the United States forty individuals were identified as 2013 Purpose Prize Fellows, including our founder, June Barrett.  Multiple prestigious foundations including the S. D.
