Successful Dealers Auto Classic Car Auction provides substantial boost to Crumley House; ’65 Mustang goes for $27,000

Dealers Auto Auction of East Tennessee, along with Asset Auctions, hosted its first-ever classic car auction last Saturday with nearly 200 vehicles on the bidding block. Among the wide variety of cars was a red ‘65 Ford Mustang with 100% of the proceeds from its sale going to benefit The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center. To say the event was a success and a win-win for all involved is an understatement. “We are extremely pleased with the number of units we were able to offer, the large crowd that turned out for the event and of course the opportunity to support our community and The Crumley House,” said DAA General Manager, Gary Montgomery. Anthony Shelton of Greeneville, Tenn., placed the winning bid of $27,000 on the ’65 Mustang. “We had to have that car,” said Shelton who attended the event opening but ended up having to compete for the car by bidding online due to a prior commitment. … [Read more...]

DAA East Tennessee to auction off ’65 Ford Mustang to benefit Crumley House April 23 as part of huge Classic Car Auction

Classic cars, competitive bidding, live entertainment, food and supporting a worthy cause are all on the list as Dealers Auto Auction of East Tennessee brings to the Tri-Cities region its first ever Classic Car Auction. Set for April 22 and 23, the two-day event is open to the public with a large inventory of classic vehicles hitting the auction block. Joggin for the Noggin! 5K Run/Walk presented by ETSU Health and Food City Event Page

The Crumley House will host one of its most significant fundraisers, the Joggin’ for the Noggin! 5K Run/Walk presented by ETSU Health and Food City, on Saturday, March 26, coinciding with the nationally recognized Brain Injury Awareness Month.  Touted as one of the most scenic 5K events in the region, the run/walk takes place at The Crumley House (300 Urbana Road, Limestone, TN) beginning at 10 AM.
