Challenging times often provide rewarding opportunities. After forgoing its Polynesian Beach Party for a second consecutive year (this time due to the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus), The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center again faces one of those times. Crumley House to substitute Annual Polynesian Beach Party with “Donation Days” in the interest of community health and well-being
LIMESTONE, Tenn. (Saturday, July 30, 2021) -- Due to the rapid increase in the COVID-19 Delta variant throughout the region, The Crumley House will replace its largest and most important fundraiser, The Polynesian Beach Party, for a second consecutive year with online “Donation Days”. “For our members, staff, attendees and our sponsors it’s truly a heart-breaking situation,” stated Executive Director Guynn Edwards. “However, in looking at the numbers and projections, there is a point when one realizes that health, the well-being of all and concern for others becomes paramount and that is why we are making this decision.” … [Read more...]
