Polynesian Beach Party Returns Aug. 10 With Live Music and More

Beach PartyMark your calendars for Saturday, August 10, as The Crumley House Polynesian Beach Party returns. It’s a summer tradition that significantly impacts the lives of traumatic brain injury survivors and their families. In fact, this event is the most important fundraiser of the year for the brain injury rehabilitation center.

The festivities kick off at 6 PM at a beautiful and spacious new venue, The Farm at Jackson Bridge, located at 1090 Taylor Bridge Road in Jonesborough, Tenn. Ballad Health proudly returns as the Elite Sponsor for this beach-themed gala.

Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with live music by Club Rewind, a delectable array of island-themed foods, and a variety of entertainment, including dancing and games, all set in a relaxed atmosphere. Summer dresses, beach shirts, and flip-flops are the preferred attire, embracing the laid-back beach vibe.

“The Polynesian Beach Party is the perfect occasion for friends to gather, enjoy each other’s company, and support a worthy cause,” says Guynn Edwards, Executive Director of Crumley House.

Dr. Caroline Abercrombie of ETSU, who serves on The Crumley House Board of Directors and chairs the fundraising committee, adds, “As summer winds down, we eagerly anticipate welcoming guests to this significant event. We’re especially thrilled to have a live band for the first time since 2019, promising one of our best beach parties ever.”Guests with flamingo

Often dubbed the social event of the summer, the party attracts a diverse group of businesses and organizations, key individuals, personalities, and leaders from across the Tri-Cities, providing an excellent networking opportunity.

Founded in 1992, The Crumley House offers residential services, an adult day program, and service coordination for traumatic brain injury survivors. Their comprehensive rehabilitation services include cognitive, technology and physical training. Community re-entry activities, as well as speech and occupational training also are among Crumley House member experiences.

BuffetEdwards emphasizes, “With around 2.8 million individuals experiencing traumatic brain injury annually in the United States alone, the need for rehabilitation services is critical. Our mission is to aid in the rehabilitation of those who have survived their injury survivors.”

Event and table sponsorships are now available, along with individual tickets. For more information on how to be part of the 2024 Crumley House Polynesian Beach Party, visit our Official Beach Party Event Page or call (423) 257-3644. You may also inquire by email.
