The Crumley House hosted its 14th Annual Polynesian Beach Party on Saturday, drawing over 250 enthusiastic participants who enjoyed the celebration while supporting the traumatic brain injury rehab center.
“Our Polynesian Beach Party was truly a wonderful event for everyone who attended, and we are deeply grateful for their presence,” said Executive Director Guynn Edwards. “We must also extend our heartfelt thanks to the individuals, businesses, and organizations that contributed to making this event possible. We recognize that an event of this magnitude could not happen without their generous support.”
While the party may be over, the organization’s fundraising efforts will continue through mid-September with its Annual Online Auction.
“Think of this as the second leg of our beach party,” said Ben Trout, Crumley House Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator. “Instead of a live auction at the event, we opted to move it entirely online, and we’ve had some fantastic partners join us with incredible items.”
The Online Auction will run through mid-September and features a wide variety of items, including golf outings, massage packages, jewelry, furniture, day trips, and more. To participate, visit crumleyhouse.com and click the Online Auction banner at the top of the page.
Trout encourages everyone to visit the auction page frequently, as new items will be added regularly.
During the party, Guynn Edwards emphasized the importance of transparency in how donated funds are allocated. Edwards stated, “Our facility is in urgent need of a new roof after 24 years, and we’re directing the funds raised from the Beach Party and Online Auction toward this critical project.”
