The Crumley House will welcome WJHL News Channel 11 Morning Anchor Kelly Goetz as the emcee for its annual Polynesian Beach Party fundraiser, set for Saturday, August 10. This will mark the third consecutive year that Goetz has hosted the popular summer event.
Kelly joined the WJHL News Channel 11 team in 2020, moving to the Tri-Cities from Florida. During her tenure at WJHL, she has covered a variety of stories centered on The Crumley House.
“I attended and graduated from the University of Florida. While there, I had a very close friend suffer and survive a traumatic brain injury,” Goetz said. “I have witnessed first-hand how difficult the recovery process can be for brain-injured individuals and their families.”
The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit organization offering residential care and adult day programs for survivors of traumatic brain injuries. The organization relies heavily on fundraising through grants, donations, community partnerships and events such as its Polynesian Beach Party.
