Each spring, Garland Farm Estates hosts its annual Crawfish Boil and it has become one of the region’s premier social gatherings, as well as a boost for local nonprofits. Organizers of the event, which took place last May, chose The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center as the beneficiary of event proceeds. 

Pat Ryder, representing Garland Farm attended Wednesday evening’s Crumley House Board of Directors Meeting at the facility in Limestone where the funds were recognized with a ceremonial check presentation in the total of $92,845.

“We are truly blessed to be part of a region that is so giving,” said Crumley House Executive Director Guynn Edwards. “Our organization and what we do for survivors of traumatic brain injury simply would not be feasible without such support.”

Ryder added, “We’ve had The Crumley House on our radar for quite a while now and we’re happy to finally have them as part of the family of nonprofits we have aided over the years.”

The May 2026 event was the 13th Annual Crawfish Boil for Garland Farm Estates.
