Glasgow Coma Scale

This neurological scale, along with the Revised Trauma Scale, is frequently obtained upon initial presentation to a hospital. The scale is an objective way of recording the conscious state of a patient. The scale measures best eye response (E), best verbal response (V), and best motor response (M).
